Overview:
Noah was a righteous man blameless among the people of his time1. He was chosen by God to build a massive wooden ark to preserve human and animal life from a worldwide flood that was sent by God to to purge earth’s corruption.
Following the flood, Noah offered sacrifices, and God established the Noahic Covenant—promising never again to destroy all creation with a global flood and marking the pledge with a rainbow.
