God created the heavens and the earth. The earth is covered by water and darkness. God created light and separated the light from the dark.

Adam and Eve Sinned by eating from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil after Eve is deceived by the Serpent.
God expelled them from the Garden and they became “mortal”.
