Bible Doctrines

Bible doctrines are key principles or teachings that are taught by the Bible (at least in theory). There are many different Bible doctrines taught by various Christian denominations that sometimes contradict. This is to be expected as the Bible, while containing some basic “elementary” doctrines, also teaches more advanced lessons that are not always easy to grasp – resulting in incorrect interpretations. Unfortunately, in addition to honest mistakes, some people are also responsible for deliberate misinterpretation for their own gain as predicted by the Bible:

Some things in these letters are hard to understand, things the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures.
